Techspace Aero employs over 400 engineers and technicians, and invests approximately 15% of its turnover in Research, Technology and Development. The company also works with top-ranking international universities and research centres.
Techspace Aero plays a very active role in several European and regional research programmes for the creation of innovative solutions which are intended to reduce the mass, fuel consumption and bulk of engine modules and equipment (VITAL, APC, Newac, Dream, ECOM, ECOTAC, etc.).
Thanks to its long experience in technology and the many and varied skills of its workforce, Techspace Aero brings technologies to the market that have been validated and tested on a demonstrator, ready to be integrated on engines. To protect these innovations, the company takes out more than 10 patents a year.
In the field of low pressure compressors, the company is aiming to perfect more compact, lighter, ultra high-performance modules by optimising the aerodynamics and by using composite materials. The continuous development of our skills in the fields of aerodynamics, materials and processes has put Techspace Aero well ahead when it comes to technology.
