Safran +, making headway in the drive for success
Techspace Aero liaises with the Safran Group in implementing a professional continuous improvement process, called Safran +, to structure progress actions and achieve the level of excellence expected by customers.
This process is based on acknowledged tools and methodologies such as Lean Sigma, Process Certification, TPM, Visual Factory, SPC, 5S, SMED, etc.
Today, Techspace Aero is seeking to implement ongoing improvements that apply both to the company’s products and services and to its overall operating modes and processes. The Executive Board defines the annual progress plan and monitors performance through measurement indicators updated on a monthly basis. A Total Quality specialists unit backed by a group of experts in various fields, both from the company and from the Safran Group, is assigned to co-ordinate and implement this plan.
